Where the text, voices, and pictures come from

Bibleward uses the Berean Standard Bible for Scripture. The Bible text, our explanations, synthesized recordings, and illustrations are different kinds of material; they do not all share the same permissions.

Scripture: Berean Standard Bible

The Berean Bible publisher states that its Bible texts were dedicated to the public domain on April 30, 2023. Its licensing and terms pages are linked below so you can read the publisher’s own statement rather than relying on a Bibleward summary.

Our prepared reading library uses the checksum-verified BSB v5.9 text. Book, chapter, and verse identities are preserved when passages are extracted. A new publisher download can differ from our recorded version; a difference should be investigated against the version and passage, not silently repaired from memory.

BSB identifies the Bible translation, not the author of Bibleward’s explanations. Our study guides, reflection prompts, and navigation copy are kept separate from the exact text. Public-domain Scripture is not a statement that another publisher’s commentary or Bible translation has the same permissions.

Audio: prepared AI narration

The prepared English narrator tracks use Alibaba Cloud Model Studio / DashScope Qwen3 TTS voices Maia and Andre. The selected profiles use a slower 0.88× preparation setting with pitch preserved. The player’s timing and verse positions refer to the prepared recording, not a decorative estimate.

Our provider-rights record documents the product owner’s August 26, 2026 confirmation of the commercial terms and intended publication use. Private account documents are retained by the owner, not reproduced on this site. This disclosure records that confirmation; it is not an independent legal opinion or an endorsement from the provider.

The public-domain status of the underlying words does not by itself give visitors a license to redistribute a particular recording. Ask about a specific audio asset and intended use before republishing it. A model, voice, region, or distribution change calls for a fresh permissions check.

Artwork: illustrations, not historical evidence

Bibleward’s daily artwork manifest records each prepared asset’s identity, dimensions, file checksum, and owner-confirmed publication-rights status. Its current rights confirmation is dated August 26, 2026. A file record helps us identify the exact asset; it does not prove that a depicted scene is historically exact.

AI-assisted biblical illustrations are interpretive visual companions. They are not photographs, authenticated portraits, or a source for details absent from the text. A figure used symbolically should be identified when that distinction matters. We do not claim that the right to display an illustration gives every visitor unrestricted reuse rights.

Report a text, attribution, or rights concern

Send the page address and Day number, then identify the sentence, verse, image, or audio timestamp. Include the source or rights record you want us to check and describe the correction or permission issue. For a reuse request, name the specific asset and intended distribution rather than assuming all materials have one license.

Use the Contact page for the support address. Do not send passwords, API keys, card details, private reflections, or prayer drafts. This page makes no promise of a response deadline or automatic approval; a reported issue still needs investigation.
